I,Q Indepence Hall, by Roland Smith.

This book is about a boy named Quest (Q) whose new stepsister brings alot of adventure. Q's mother is a musical sensation and was recently married to fellow musical sensation, Roger. The two make an album, and go on tour to perform it. Q and Roger's daughter Angela accompany them. Soon, Q and Angela realize that Angela is being followed, and must unravel a mystery involving terrorists, the CIA, and sleeper cells.
This book is an amazing book! It was written by Roland Smith who, although I have only read 2 of his books, is one of my favorite authors. He strings the events in his book together with the care of a surgeon, making each event lead to the next, but moving the book along in easy steps, giving the book a nice pace. His characters are well composed, with realistic ideas and emotion. This book also has alot of action, but also has a bit of a mystery, one of my favorite kind of books. Overall, this book got a 7.7 out of 10.

The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games is about a 16 year old girl named Katniss Everdeen who is forced to fight 23 other children, aged 12-18.
This is one of my favorite books EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I like it because it has alot of action, and I live on action. Also the book is very well written, with a good plotline, a good pace, and cliffhangers. Also, it has realistic, down to earth characters. For example, Katniss struggles with the idea of killing other children, even though she knows that they will be after her. She also deals with the possibility of betrayal, and still she is nervous about killing. Overall, I give this book a 9.4 out of 10.

Peak by Roland Smith

Peak is a book about a boy named Peak (What a surprise) who has a passion for climbing. He usually spends his time climbing rock walls such as the one behind his house. However, he decides that rock walls aren't enough, and wants to climb mountains. However there happens to be a shortage of mountains in the heart of New York City. So he climbs buildings instead (illegally, I should mention.) He carries a mountain stencil and blue spray paint with him whenever he goes on a climb. When he reaches the top, he makes a mountain design. There is no point in this except to amaze people that see these pictures. However, the police see these marks and know that someone is climbing illegally. He is caught, and sent to live with his father, the famous climber, Joshua Wood. Josh wants to go on a climb with Peak. And not just any climb, he wants to climb Everest. The book is about Peak's adventures on Everest.

I really liked the book because there were cliffhangers EVERYWHERE!!!!! The quality of writing is very good and I like the story. The end has a twist that you will not see coming.
Overall, I give the book a 7.7 out of 10.
