This book is about Harry's 4th year at Hogwarts. The Triwizard Tournament is being held at Hogwarts this year, and Harry is looking forward to it. However, three wizards over the age of sevevteen are supposed to be chosen, and yet fourteen-year-old Harry is chosen as well as the other three.
This book is VERY GOOD! It has lots of action (As do all the Harry Potter books) like wizard duels and dodging dragons, and it has lots of things to piece together and try to figure out before the book tells you. For example, I figured out who put Harry's name forward as a candidate before the book told you. The book was exceptionally written, and I give it 10 out of 10.

Post #8? Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Askaban, by J.K. Rowling
This book is about Harry Potter a thirteen-year-old wizard. He attends the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft And Wizardry. He is currently in his third year at Hogwarts, and escaped criminal Sirius Black is believed to be after him.
I really like this book. (Why wouldn't I, it's Harry Potter) I have read all the Harry Potter books a million bajillion times, and yet they are always entertaining. I like it because it has action, and I do love action. (As you can see in my other posts) For example, a student gets his arm scratched by a Hippogriff (Half bird Half horse) and Harry blows up his aunt like a balloon. Plus, the characters are really well developed, and I really like J.K. Rowling's writing, because of the well developed characters, and a good amount of cliffhangers. Overall this book (Along with all the other Harry Potter books) Gets a 10 out of 10. I HIGHLY reccomend these books to EVERYONE!

Post #7 (WOO LUCKY NUMBER!) The Da Vinci Code, by Dan Brown.
The Da Vinci code is about Robert Langdon, a professor in symbology at Harvard University. While in Paris, Langdon recieves a call from the French equivalent of the FBI (The DCPJ) that the curator of one of the most famous museums in the world, The Louvre, has been murdered, with a baffling cipher near him. He soon learns that he is the prime suspect, and must escape to the US embassy with the help of agent Sophie Neveu.
I LOVE THIS BOOK! I like it because it has a plethora of puzzles, and I'm a puzzle addict, it's a mystery, and I love mystery, AND it has lots and lots of ACTION! Also, Dan Brown is a great writer. I could not put this book down. This book earns 10 OUT OF 10!

The Real Post #6, The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp
The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp is about a boy named Alfred Kropp who lives with his uncle Farell becuse he is an orphan. His uncle is not exactly poor, but he is struggling to get by comfortably. So, when a man comes to them with a shady get rich quick scheme, Farell cannot resist. However, Alfred is suspicious, and wary of doing the deeds requested, and rightly so. Soon, Farell is dead, and Alfred is roped into a world of knights with really nice cars, magic swords, and evil.
Again, I got farther than that but again I will spare the spoilers.
I really like this book so far because I can't put it down. There are a lot of cliffhangers and those keep the pages turning. However, it isn't like The Da Vinci Code, where cliffhangers are way over used. Also, there is a good amount of action (I can't get enough actioin) like swordfights and stabbings. Plus, Alfred is a good character, appropriate thoughts and opinions about these events and an appropriate level of confusion.
Over all, this book has so far earned an 8.8

Post #6? The Lightning Thief, by Rick Riordan
I had heard alot of good things about this book and I have been dying to read it for a while now, but I never got around to it. Anyway, this book is about a boy named Percy (Persius [Yes, I did say Persius, not Percival]) Jackson, a not-so-average student at a not-so-average Yancy Academy. Wierd things have been happening to Percy, like accidentally vaporizing his Pre-Algebra teacher. (Whoops. My bad!) Anyway, he is pretty darn confused, but not for long.
(I got farther than that in the book, but I can't STAND a spoiler, so I'll spare you.) I really like this book so far. I like it because it has action (He uses a pen/sword to vaporize his Pre-Algebra teacher!) and good characters. For example, Percy is totally confused about why is teacher just disappeared, like I would be, but he isn't freaking out and going OMG and crying and sitting in the fetal position. That would be weird. (Yes, I have seen characters like that in books, and I just never seem to ba able to finish those books. Hm, I wonder...) So far, 9 out of 10.

I,Q Indepence Hall, by Roland Smith.
This book is about a boy named Quest (Q) whose new stepsister brings alot of adventure. Q's mother is a musical sensation and was recently married to fellow musical sensation, Roger. The two make an album, and go on tour to perform it. Q and Roger's daughter Angela accompany them. Soon, Q and Angela realize that Angela is being followed, and must unravel a mystery involving terrorists, the CIA, and sleeper cells.
This book is an amazing book! It was written by Roland Smith who, although I have only read 2 of his books, is one of my favorite authors. He strings the events in his book together with the care of a surgeon, making each event lead to the next, but moving the book along in easy steps, giving the book a nice pace. His characters are well composed, with realistic ideas and emotion. This book also has alot of action, but also has a bit of a mystery, one of my favorite kind of books. Overall, this book got a 7.7 out of 10.

The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games is about a 16 year old girl named Katniss Everdeen who is forced to fight 23 other children, aged 12-18.
This is one of my favorite books EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I like it because it has alot of action, and I live on action. Also the book is very well written, with a good plotline, a good pace, and cliffhangers. Also, it has realistic, down to earth characters. For example, Katniss struggles with the idea of killing other children, even though she knows that they will be after her. She also deals with the possibility of betrayal, and still she is nervous about killing. Overall, I give this book a 9.4 out of 10.
